Let’s just get into it. College Football is back! No fluff, just statistic free summaries of some of my favorite plays this weekend.
Navy +21
Navy is always a good underdog against the spread bet. Notre Dame is overvalued in Vegas and Navy runs the type of game to keep this close. Blame Sam Hartman for this. When Notre Dame was listening to their new Beats on their flight across the ocean, Navy was reading printed out game planning notes.
Jacksonville St +2
It feels like yesterday that Jacksonville State beat Florida State. Maybe I’m still riding off that high but I think they will handle the bump up in competition better than most bettors.
Vanderbilt -17.5
This feels gross to write but they handled the rainbow warriors last year without flying around the world. This time Hawaii makes the flight to Tennessee. Vanderbilt understands their system a little better and have more buy in after the way they ended their season last year. I think the Commodore team that beat Florida and Kentucky shows up early this year.
