How SweepVegas Began

I first discovered the online sports betting community on Twitter just a few years ago.  I stumbled upon it by accident since I only made my Twitter account to give me an edge in Fantasy Football.  I had always been a successful sports bettor but I started seeing people win 100 unit bombs and boasting about their awesome nights with every recap involving wins.  I was very naive.  I thought to myself, “I can make this an income if I follow these “Professionals.”  I won’t even have to do my own research.””  After losing a few paychecks, I learned that there wasn’t anyone I could trust more than myself.

Eventually I started posting my own plays but felt like this community was missing something.  The longer I was involved, the more I started noticing things I didn’t see before.  I felt like it was changing.  It was changing into something I didn’t like.  Bashing people became a better sales pitch than promoting yourself.  Good and beloved cappers would disguise recaps.  They always sold the future bounce back day but could never sell their history.  It was like watching magicians who always have you looking at the wrong hand.

So I decided to do something about it.  I decided I wanted to make another sports betting community.  A place where we don’t bash each other.  A place to actually live by the slogan many use on Twitter, “Come together to beat the books.”  The First and most important part of this new adventure was to surround myself with the right people.  I wanted positive, honest, and trustworthy people.  I wanted good people who would make a community fun, bring insightful information, and most importantly were good at handicapping sports.  I immediately  sought out two guys from Twitter: Clark Griswold (@stayclassy1979) and Capper University (@Capper_U).  Clark and CappU both agreed with my vision and decided to join me in this journey of creating a new community.  I can not think of two better people and cappers to begin this journey with!

Since we consider ourselves a true TEAM, we want to be able to combine to help YOU beat the books. We offer multicapper premium packages, a free community forum, free plays, betting resources, articles will be written, forums to run and commission your fantasy leagues and more. Eventually our team will grow as we bring on more honest, fun, and well regarded cappers.  More Cappers who will have the same goal to help build this community.
